Rudbeckia 'Goldsturm' Plants

Rudbeckia fulgida

This wonderful native was selected as the 1999 Perennial Plant of the Year by the Perennial Plant Association. Internationally acclaimed as one of the most popular perennials for the past 50 years, we are excited to add Goldsturm Rudbeckia to our selection! Although no stranger to most gardeners, 'Goldstrum' is a must have for the mid-summer to fall garden; golden yellow 2" ray flowers with a deep black central cone, you will have a non stop color show for up to 2 months. Mixed with other long blooming natives and ornamental grasses, you will have a true 'gold storm' in your garden.

We have a variety of Rudbeckia plants including: the dwarf-sized Little Goldstar, common Rudbeckia Hirta and Prairie Sun plants which feature bright green centers.

Features
Zone: 3 - 9

Size: 3' H x 2' S

Light: Full Sun

Bloom: Yellow, Summer - Fall

Tips: Each flower may last up to two weeks! Makes a wonderful and long lasting cut flower with each flower lasting up to 2 weeks. Make sure to deadhead to promote these blooms, but don't toss the seed heads as these plants provides winter food for birds and nectar for butterflies. Incredible when used in mass plantings as well as perennial borders, meadows and prairie gardens.

Rudbeckia 'Goldsturm' April 18, 2017
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Weeki Wachee, FL United States
Very healthy looking plants and still doing well in the garden.
The plants arrived packed wonderfully, and thankfully your company does such a great job since the delivery person didn't understand what the arrow symbol on the box meant! : ) It was in a bad position for less than a hour. Opened the box and let sit on the front porch until the weekend. None of the plants needed water, and all are doing really great!
