Potted Italian Parsley Plants

Hands down, our favorite culinary herb!

We have been growing this herb for over 30 years, and it is still our favorite. Easy to grow, it is the perfect addition to almost EVERYTHING! Italian Parsley has a robust flavor, and holds up really well in cooking. Use in soups, stews and sauces as well as fresh in salads. Easy to grow indoors, it makes a handsome potted plant. An undemanding herb, it just needs enough light to thrive indoors (6 to 8 hours of indirect sunlight) and harvest often to encourage growth.

Italian Parsley will grow well indoors, but remember that it will need 6 - 8 hours of bright, indirect light. It's a prolific grower so you should have plenty of herbs for your dishes!

It will do well outdoors too, but remember to bring it in before a frost! This herb is a wonderful source of nutrition for Swallowtail butterflies, bees and other nectar-feeding insects. So, if you are willing to share, let 'em have at it!

Herbs need a few essentials to grow well indoors: soil, water, nutrients and most of all, ADEQUATE SUNLIGHT! Not all herbs do well indoors, but parsley is quite easy to grow both indoors and out. In the winter, they will grow a bit slower but you will still be able to have the farm fresh flavor of Italian Parsley all winter long! Natural light is best, and 6 hours minimum is required. Snip often!
