Nasturtium 'Alaska Mix' Plants

Tropaeolum majus

This stunning variety of Nasturtium will have heads turning toward your garden! Beautiful white marbled variegation on the leaves of this edible annual define it from numerous similar strains. Vibrant, single red, orange and yellow flowers bloom profusely when given lots of light. Foliage and flowers can all be ingested and used for culinary dishes that need a little peppery "pick me up" or lovely garnish.

The 'Alaska Mix' has a low, mounding habit with a slight trail, making it ideal for hanging pots and containers or as a border to an annual flower bed. Wonderfully showy, the 'Alaska Mix' creates a beautiful contrast of colors and will add beauty and depth to your backyard or patio. Attractive to butterflies and bees, this is a weather hardy plant and will grow quickly with little maintenance. Mix with the Nasturtium 'Jewel Mix' for an amazing array of colors and a nice contrast of foliage.

Unfortunately, two of the three plants didn't really survive the trip. I thought I could give them some love and they would do alright, but only one is doing well. The other two didn't make it! The roots were intact, but the leaves fell off during transit. I will order this again though because this is the first time this has happened. I've ordered these in the past and they've usually done very well.
