Mojito Mint Plants

Mentha x villosa

If you are herb gardening and you are cooking, there is every reason to include mint mojito plants, especially this famous variety.

While recipes call for any available variety of Spearmint, the real mojito can only be made with the true Mojito Mint. This culinary herb, a native to Cuba, was previously impossible to get in North America but thanks to Toronto mojito enthusiast Catherine Nasmith who visited Cuba in 2006, we now have the authentic plant from Cuba. Not just great in beverages, Mojito Mint also makes a great seasoning for meats and confections.

Make Real Mojitos with Mojito Mint!

It is clearly different from most other mints - the scent of this aromatic herb and flavor are agreeably mild and warm, not pungent nor overly sweet like other mints. Recent studies have also concluded that the smell of Mint Plants has been proven to stimulate brain activity and may be useful before a test as well as in the kitchen!

My favorite mint! April 30, 2019
Reviewer: Kim from California
Carefully packaged and arrived in great condition.  Thanks to the excellent instructions provided on how to care for them upon arrival, all three plants are healthy and growing so quickly.  Even though I’ve had them just under a month there are already plenty of leaves to pick.  Love the variety of herbs that I can’t find in nurseries here at home, I’ll definitely be back to shop again!

Beautiful April 8, 2017

The plant arrived very healthy and once planted has taken off even in this cool weather.  The taste is perfect for mojito's too.  Sweet and minty without the harshness you sometimes get from mint.

Wauw November 4, 2016
Reviewer: Kristine from Brooklyn , NY United States
I expected tiny plants but instead I received a box filled with large green mojhito mint plants!
I estimate that The plants were between 1 and 2 feet tall. (I'm European so I'd say 40cm average) .
Have placed them planted them inside a pallet wall and the are thriving well.
Will definitely order from this seller again! (And I don't like writing reviews but I just have to support a company that grows and delivers these beautiful products.)
Also ordered a bunch of lemon grass and are looking healthy.

mojito time :) November 4, 2016
Reviewer: daniel briere from north scituate, RI United States
One of the hottest mints in cultivation right now, sought after by bartenders and restaurants and drink drinkers ;) plant showed up very well established, plenty of leaves to spare for coctails, and plant has grown tremendously! I keep my mints in pots (for obvious reasons) in good sun with rich organic matter and it couldn't get any easier to grow a plant than mint. Thanks again!
