Fernleaf Lavender Plants

Lavandula multifida

This Lavender, Fernleaf or Egyptian lavender, is not like other lavenders that melt in the hot weather. Fernleaf likes full sun, tolerates heat and humidity making it a great choice for the deep south. Hardy in zones 9-11.Can also be grown as a fast growing annual in the Northern areas.

The lavender fernleaf plant has silver-green deeply cut fern-like foliage, highly aromatic, stems hosting clusters of 3 long lasting blue violet blooms.

Bees and Butterflies will flock to these plants.

Features
Zones: 8 - 11

Size: 24"H x 36"S

Light: Full Sun

Bloom: Blue - Violet, Late Summer - Early Fall

Uses: A lovely aromatic, 'Fernleaf' is used for cut bouquets as the foliage is soft, fuzzy and fern like in appearance.

Tips: This lavender is a great filler plant for gardens, borders and easily grown in containers. This is a more south hardy variety and is deer, rabbit and drought resistant

Plant arrived looking healthy.  I hope it survives the humidity along the gulf coast. This will be the first time I have tried this variety here.
