Creeping Fig Plants

Ficus Pumila

Native to Asia, Ficus pumila is commonly referred to as creeping fig. It is a vigorous and easy to grow climbing vine. In zones 9-11, it is hardy and used to cover walls, trellises and posts. Smallest member of the ficus family, it has dainty heart shaped leaves and does produce a 2" pear-shaped purple fruit.

'Creeping Fig' is easy to grow indoors, and is commonly used in topiaries as well as terrariums. A perfect container plant, provided it gets bright, indirect light. Be careful not to overwater.
