Shipping Dates for Plant Material
Thank you for your support! We are honored to be able to provide you with our live fresh herbs, and share the joys of gardening with you. We are working hard to get your plants to you, and want to provide you with information regarding our shipping schedule.
- 'Shipping Begins' dates are approximate based on the previous year's shipping schedule. Actual dates are subject to change with weather conditions including temperatures in your area as well as ours.
- It is our goal to ship plants at just the right time for your particular area. We will check your zone, check the weather and ship when it is safe! We encourage customers to order early to ensure that you get just what you want - 'first come, first served'!
- There are some plants that are more sensitive to extremes in temperature, therefore these ship dates may not apply in cases when ordering these plants.

PLANT SHIPPING STATEMENT
We encourage customers to order early to ensure that you get just what you want - first come, first served! We avoid shipping plants near the end of the week to avoid having them sit in a warehouse over the weekend. Regretfully we cannot ship outside the 48 contiguous United States. Please be sure your address is correct (incorrect addresses result in extra charges to you and delayed shipments). Postal box users please give a physical address for shipments.Our top-quality plants are packed in our own greenhouses by our own staff, in a manner to ensure that you receive them in perfect condition. Once they arrive at their destination, care in handling is a must. We include instructions for planting in every order. And, you are always welcome to contact us with any questions you may have.
EMAIL ADDRESSES are how we contact you should we have questions regarding your order, notifying you of your shipment delivery or relay other important information. Your email and personal information WILL NOT be used for any other purpose.

Getting to "the roots" of the matter...
As much as we wish we could hand deliver all of our plants, we haven't found a time machine that makes that possible. We understand when shipping live plants that we place their care in the hands of Mother Nature and the shipping provider. At times, this may take them on a journey that involves less than ideal climates and unforeseen surrounding circumstances.
The gardener in each of us wants to nurse them back to being happy, healthy and thriving again. YES, in most cases they can definitely bounce back! However, for the times they don't, we WANT you to contact us as quickly as possible so we can offer assistance!!
We have a wonderful customer service team here and happy to help! We want nothing more than for ALL of our customers to have success with their gardening adventures! If that means we need to send a replacement plant, or provide store credit...
We will do what it takes to make it RIGHT!!
Our goal is for all of our plants to leave our greenhouses and arrive at their new homes with the highest quality, health, and readiness for transplanting when they arrive at their new homes. If your plants fail within fourteen (14) days of arrival, please contact us at info@thegrowers-exchange.com.
