Description Briscoe's Tips   Origanum x majoricum. 'Sweet Marjoram' is an elegant and versatile culinary herb with a milder flavor than its cousin, Oregano. It has a much sweeter flavor, described as "balsam-like".  An essential ingredient in your herb gardening efforts, 'Sweet Marjoram' is among our most popular culinary herb plants. Sweet Marjoram grows well in full sun, and has a bushy habit getting no taller than 18". It has small, round pale green leaves and produces tiny white/pink flowers. This is a wonderful fresh herb, and use it in dishes that call for oregano. Eggs, meats, vegetables ... it works well in almost any dish!
