Rudbeckia hirtaRudbeckia hirta is the far superior
container and cutting Black Eyed Susan. The
y have gigantic golden flowers measuring 4-7" across and coarse, sturdy stems
that produce semi-double and single flowers all summer long. This is a wonderful cut flower that will bloom until the frost.
Rudbeckias are drought resistant but make sure to water your Black Eyed Susans well in the first year to get them firmly established.
