Eucalyptus gunni

'Silver Drop' Eucalyptus Plant, sometimes called a "Cider Gum", is a great aromatic herb and has a lovely, small, silvery leaf . These stems work well in any arrangement and can be used both fresh and dried. Add this great filler to your flower garden for its height as a background plant and its unusual but beautiful look. A more cold-hardy variety of the Eucalyptus plant, 'Silver Drop' has thrived on our farm here in zone 7, despite the harsh winters we sometimes get!

Medicinally, the essential oils from Eucalyptus 'Silver Drop' are used to relieve respiratory and sinus congestion and infection, rashes, sores and asthma. These oils are also used in deodorants, bath oils, shampoos and in Aromatherapy products.

Eucalyptus plants are easy to grow and maintain, both in the ground or in a container. It can be brought indoors to winter over, but be sure to give it lots of sunshine or this Tasmanian native won't grow happily.

Amazed.. June 5, 2015
Reviewer: Sharon Pribbernow from Wausau, WI United States
The plants I ordered had taken longer than usual to arrive, so I was concerned that they would be affected by the shipping. I opened the box and was amazed at the size of the eucalyptus plant. It was easily double the size of plants I had seen in area greenhouses. All of the plants looked in great shape and are doing well so far...

I ordered this and several other items for a friend. It arrived in great condition and it was just so pretty and smelled so nice I kind of wish I'd ordered some for myself! She says it is still doing great.

How do I really feel about this plant? It arrived in a well protected box. In excellent condition. It is doing very well in the container in my kitchen window. It requires little  care. I will continue to order from the growers exchange.

Silver Drop Eucalyptus September 2, 2014
Reviewer: Jean McMillan from West Nyack, NY United States
I'd found a silver drop eucalyptus seedling 5 years ago at a small gardening center, but could not find it again. When I saw it at The growers exchange, I ordered it immediately! It has grown beautifully, and recently I gave a "bouquet" of herbs including the eucalyptus to a friend as a gift. She was so excited, she will be ordering it and others from The Growers Exchange next spring. Love, love love this site, and their healthy plants!!!

Beautiful Eucalyptus plants arrived perfectly May 12, 2014
Reviewer: Bobbi Hillebert from Hesperia, CA United States
I've been wanting to plant the eucalyptus gunnii for quite some time but they are nearly impossible to find in Southern California even though they thrive here. I was concerned about the condition they would arrive in shipping from the east to west coast but, they arrived in perfect condition due to your careful packaging. I'll be ordering more soon.
