Description Briscoe's Tips   Coriandrum sativum. Cilantro 'Santo' is a classic Mexican herb and an important addition to herb gardening for the cook. The foliage is called 'cilantro' while the seed is called 'coriander'.  Popular among herb plants in Asian and Mexican cuisine, Santo is an especially successful variety due to it's slow-bolting habit.
